  • SERVICE INFO

Powdercoating calipers offers long term protection that will last many years. By using high grade materials and meticulous preparation we guarantee top quality finishes. Each part of the caliper is taken back to the substrate by acid dipping, blast cleaning, checked for imperfections and degassed.  A zinc primer and a polyester powder coat is applied. Further coats such as diamond clear or candy lacquers can be applied to give that special finishing touch.

    Info

Why do pistons stick & Seize?

This is the most common problem when a vehicle is not used regularly.  The rubber fluid seal sticks to the piston restricting its free movement causing reduced performance which will wear pads and disks quicker.

Calipers need an internal clean every few years.

Please be aware some caliper repaint services, they DO NOT strip and rebuild.  They use wet paint instead of powder coating and the dust seals and pistons are only masked up before repainting.

Caliper pistons should move freely within the bore and the wear on pads should be even.
